Does anyone play Dissidia?

I'm not sure if anyone here plays it competitively or not, but I haven't played any competetion since the games come out.

This might be redundent since Dissidia 2 is coming out next year. but w/e we can talk about that too.

TWD plays it, but I dont know how competitively

If he plays Zidane/Kuja I'll be mad.

I don't really play competitively, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
I've got Cloud down fairly well, so no Kuja/Zidane hate for me!
...of course, I just need to 'competitively' try out the other characters, see who I 'ficially like. >_>

- Accessories of any sort are not permitted. (Other than those stated)
- Summons of any sort are not permitted.
- All players must have the full set of Impartisan (aka Imp set) equipped.
- Close to you must be equipped.
- A +3 DEF set up must be equipped. (Note: most efficient method is 1 Orange Drops, 1 Orange Gem)
- Hero's Seal must be equipped.
- Hero's Essence must be equipped.
- Hero's Hero's Spirit x2 must be equipped.
- Rules set to None
- Any form of "cheating" (CWcheats ect) is not allowed

- EX Splicing (EXS) is banned
- EX Link (EXL) is allowed, but cannot be chained into a EX burst
- EX Cancels (EXCa) are allowed

- Disable (place critical here) is not permitted
- EXP to ______ is not permitted
- Snooze You Lose in not permitted.
- You are allowed to equip any critical ability EXCEPT Counterattack and Sneak Attack at the same time. You may use either or, but not both.
- In the options menu, view all statistics must be selected. This is to confirm which criticals will be in play and which are not.

If you don't have some/any of the accessories, it's ok, I'll just play without them equiped.

Alright, I'll start gathering items and training. Also, I think I'm more of an Onion Knight player, so scratch me playing Cloud.
Quick question! What is Ex Splicing (EXS)? I'm pretty sure I know what Ex Reflects (EXR) are, but I couldn't find a definition.

It's essentially EX Countering. It just has a fancier name since it's a combination of EX Linking and EX Countering.

If I had a PSP, I can garantee I'd get this game.

Then go buy one!

I haven't ever played Dissidia but i'm a big fan of SRPG's and becoming a huge fan of JRPG's for some reason.

Also, I want a PSP really bad lol but 3ds is coming out so much money:(

@Seph: Yes, I hope I get enough money or something because I REALLY want one! Dissidia would be awesome as I'm gone or dont have access to a system a lot, so a portable game of such caliber would be pretty much all I would play half the time.

@Mars: Does 3DS have a release date yet? I need a new DS but Im not sure if ill get 3DS though...

Nintendo said 3DS is coming out in March in Japan so North America will probably get it in March as well.

My DS is on its last legs lol the shoulder buttons dont work because of Megaman lol.

I've used the DSPhat since it first came out, but lately the top screen has stopped working, and both shoulder buttons are broken. The R button works if you push really hard though. I can still play the GBA pokemon games on the bottom screen since they dont use anything that's broken.

@Marz: You should get some of the old JRPG's like FFVII and FFIX unless you already do.

@gashi: If you get Dissida, then you better have alot of time. Getting everone to lvl 100 isn't too hard, it's getting all their abilities mastered is the hard part.

If I get this game, imma main Bartz. I'll even do the same in 2. Unless they add Luneth or a Viena. I might main Zidane if I hate Bartz though.

Mine is from the Dissidia equivilant of Smashboards.

I have dissidia but havent really spent time playing it.
