Would you be c-betting for value here?

Say hero raises UTG with AKs and there is one caller in LP. Flop comes 825rainbow. At first thought I would think wow well this is a dry flop and when hero c-bets he's not really repping much on that board, so is most likely going to get called by the villain say 90% of the time. Is the reason for hero c-betting in this spot purely for value because he's most likely crushing villains LP calling range?

nah you just hit them with an OTG lock.
